The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) estimates that a number of areas will experience heavy rain accompanied by strong winds and lightning.

Quoted from web.meteo.bmkg.go.idTuesday (7/6/2022), there was a cyclonic circulation observed in the waters north of Kep. Bangka Belitung which forms a confluence area/wind speed deceleration (convergence) extends from West Kalimantan to Bangka Belitung.

Another convergence area extends from North Sumatra to Aceh, from Bengkulu to West Sumatra, from Papua to West Papua.

This condition is able to increase the potential for rain cloud growth around the cyclonic circulation area and along the convergence/confluence area.
