Wales is headed to the World Cup for the first time since 1958.

The Dragons defeated Ukraine 1-0 in the World Cup European playoffs on June 5 to reach the international tournament and make history.

“Even at the final whistle last night, I was thinking ‘is this a cruel dream that I am having?’ But then when you realize it’s reality, coming back to the hotel and celebrating with the players last night, then waking up this morning and having that realization again that we have done it,” said head coach Rob Page.

“It’s such a proud moment for the nation.”

Now, Wales faces England, Iran, and the United States in Group B. While defeating Gareth Southgate’s side might be a challenge, Rob Page labeled the games against the USMNT and Iran as “winnable” opportunities.
