TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA – The public prosecutor (JPU) of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) sued the former Director General (Dirjen) of Regional Financial Development (Keuda) of the Ministry of Home Affairs (Kemendagri) Mochamad Ardian Noervianto 8 years in prison.
Ardian is judged by the prosecutor to be legally and convincingly proven to have received bribes to approve funds National Economic Recovery (PEN) for the Regency Government (Pemkab) East Kolaka year 2021.
The team of attorneys considers the prosecutor KPK has ignored the facts revealed in the trial.
“The prosecutor ignored the facts of the trial a lot,” said one of the Defendant’s Legal Advisory Team, Reno Rahmat Hajar, Friday (23/9/2022).
He revealed several indications or evidence of neglect of the facts of the trial by the prosecutor KPK.
First, Ardian never gave approval/agreement to help Andi Merya received a PEN loan of Rp350 billion.
This he said can be seen from the description Andi Merya himself in court.
“The witness stated that there was no discussion of the figures during the meeting in Defendant Ardian’s work room, so the proposal for the East Kolaka PEN Loan was submitted to Defendant Ardian’s staff,” said Reno.
Likewise, according to Laode M Syukur Akbar, who was present at the meeting, he did not hear the Defendant Ardian mentioning Rp300 billion and did not hear the entire content of the conversation.
Meanwhile, Sukarman Loke’s statement stated: Andi Merya met with Defendant Ardian on May 4, 2021.
