TRIBUNNEWS.COM, CALIFORNIA – Meta’s messaging service app, WhatsApp is working on a new feature that allows users to edit messages that have been sent.

According to a leak from WaBetaInfo, a site that tracks features WhatsApp new, features Edit Message will help minimize errors when users send messages in a hurry.

The Edit Messages feature, which is currently reportedly still in development, was found in the WhatsApp beta update for Android 2.22.20.12.

This feature will likely come with a future update. Before the official launch, this feature will be available for beta testing first.

Launching from Live Mint, until now it is not certain how this feature will work.

There is a possibility WhatsApp can display the “Edit” label in the pop-up menu after long pressing the text you want to edit.

In addition, the ability to edit messages in WhatsApp may be available for a limited period of time after the user presses the submit button.

WhatsApp has also started rolling out the ability to hide status on line for testers Android Beta, added WaBetaInfo.

This new feature comes with WhatsApp beta version Android 2.22.20.9. This feature was first announced in August last year.
