TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA – Issues leakage data on institutions in Indonesia. The latest, it is stated that 26 million data from the Special Criminal Investigation Directorate Polda Metro Jaya leaking.

Reporting from Wartakotalive.com, in the breached.to site there is a thread with the title ’26M DATABASE NATIONAL POLICE IDENTITY OF INDONESIA REPUBLIC’.

Anonymous account named Meki uploaded a thread on Wednesday (21/9/2022) at approximately 21.49 WIB.

Meki is a thread creator as well as a data seller for the Police member.

In that thread, the logo of the Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation (Ditreskrimsus) was also displayed. Polda Metro Jaya.

Meki said the document he uploaded contained important documents for Police membership.

The data includes name, rank/main register number (NRP), position, and telephone number.

“Contains important documents for the entire Indonesian National Police, including police participation data throughout Indonesia,” he wrote Meki in a thread on the breached.to forum page.

As for Meki also sold the data for USD 2K (2,000) or approximately Rp. 30 million.

“Police have spent a lot of money just to build a server or a simple website (because they don’t care about vulnerabilities in the websites they manage),” wrote Meki.
