TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA – Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Kadin) Arsjad Rasjid was pushed forward as a national leader by the community in South Sumatra.
Support for Arsjad was reflected in the implementation of the Comrade Arsjad Rasjid Declaration in South Sumatra, on Saturday (24/9/2022).
This declaration was attended by representatives of community leaders, traditional leaders, religious leaders, formal and informal workers, MSMEs and women’s elements.
The chairman of Comrade Arsjad Rasjid, South Sumatra, Edi Haryadi, said they encouraged Arsjad to become a national leader because apart from being a native of South Sumatra, he was also seen as an inspiring successful businessman.
“Arsjad is an inspiring successful entrepreneur who has proven successful in leading national companies by making great progress in his field,” said Edi in his statement, Saturday.
He said his experience in the business world, both at home and abroad, proves that Arsjad is capable of working with domestic and foreign governments, which can help drive the economy.
Edi hopes that this declaration can lead Arsjad Rasjid as a national leader in the future.
“Arsjad is a suitable figure to become Indonesia’s national leader in the future,” he said.
