TRIBUNNEWS.COM – The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) has released an early warning weather extreme today, Thursday (1/12/2022).

Reported by the official website BMKGTropical Cyclone Seed 90W was observed in the Pacific Ocean north of West Papua with a maximum wind speed of around 15 knots and a minimum pressure of 1007 mb moving westward.

The potential for this system to grow into a tropical cyclone in the next 24 hours is in the low category.

Tropical Cyclone 95S was observed in the Gulf of Carpentaria with a maximum wind speed of around 20 knots and a minimum pressure of 1005 mb moving east-southeast.

The potential for this system to grow into a tropical cyclone in the next 24 hours is in the low category.

Cyclonic circulation is observed in the eastern part of Malaysia which forms a convergence area that extends in the eastern part of the Natuna Sea.

These conditions can increase the growth potential of rain clouds, wind speed, and sea wave height around the tropical cyclone seed area/cyclonic circulation and along the convergence area.
