TRIBUNNEWS.COM, JAKARTA – The National Human Rights Commission (Komnas HAM) supports the move appeal Public Prosecutor (JPU) in terms of tragedy recommendation.

Uli entrusted the legal process to Public Prosecutor (JPU) at the East Java High Court for the verdicts of the two defendants Tragedy recommendation.

Both were found guilty of violating Article 359 of the Criminal Code, Article 360 ​​paragraph (1) of the Criminal Code, and Article 360 ​​paragraph (2) of the Criminal Code in conjunction with Article 103 paragraph 1 in conjunction with Article 52 of Law number 11 of 2022.

Nevertheless, the sentences handed down against the two defendants were much lighter than the demands of the public prosecutor who requested that Suko and Haris be sentenced to 6 years and 8 months in prison.
